In 1997, the United Sons of Liberty (USOL) was established by a group of nine former Special Forces Military Veterans with the intention of offering support and camaraderie to its members as they transitioned to civilian life. It evolved into a grassroots organization that advocates for conservative causes and candidates for political office, becoming increasingly involved in local politics over time.


In addition, we have dedicated time to assisting veterans who have encountered financial hardship and become disoriented by the VA system's breakdown of their care. By aiding veterans who have become destitute and, in certain instances, addicted to and dependent on narcotics as a result of their inability to navigate the system. The typical pathway for a Veteran is virtually impossible for an individual of this nature, as they have disassociated themselves from the societal norms to such an extent that they have lost hope and are likely to encounter the law on multiple occasions.

We have been involved in a variety of political campaigns across the country and have endorsed conservative candidates for office when their stated policies and beliefs are in alignment with our own. We have established our group's policies in 2008, 2012, 2016, 2020, and 2022, which are available for review. These policies are based on our beliefs and actions as a group.

During the ill-advised and poorly executed evacuation of Afghanistan, certain members banded together with other veterans, at their own risk and expense, to extract US civilians and Afghan public members who had aided the United States during its tenure in the country. We strongly advised the Biden administration that they were not abandoning a "few hundred" behind, but rather over 11,000 individuals who were unable to be evacuated as a result of Taliban roadblocks and safety concerns.

We have never abandoned our military training and experience; however, we are of the opinion that the current challenges are the result of inadequate leadership and the misunderstanding of the Constitution's original intent. We do not support any form of rioting by any group, as it ultimately causes harm to the individuals who are the subject of the disorder. Our cause is to ensure that all individuals are treated equally and that no one is elevated above the rest of us. In our opinion, our training and weapons are the final option. Exactly why we not seen in the open, brandishing our weapons.

However, we are an unwavering advocate for the genuine intent of the Second Amendment. and that it shall not be violated in any manner at any time. Additionally, we are staunch advocates for the First Amendment.
